Venus failed to open a new logfile, the default location is something
like; /usr/coda/etc/venus.log, or /usr/local/coda/etc/venus.log
It could also be that /etc/coda/venus.conf specifies another location
for the logfiles, such as /var/log/coda/venus.log.
The directory in which logfiles are placed is not created by venus, so
it fails when this directory doesn't exist.
