hi jan: i checked updatesrv is running i using rpm install rpc2portmap but still have this message Cannot get port from rpc2portmap; exiting Could not contact SCM. Rerun when SCM is up So is updatesrv running? That is the application that should have registered it's port with rpc2portmap, and that is the port that 'cannot be gotten'. tin
