This is no problem.
You have the coda server processes running
with data lurking around in /vice*
and also the coda client process venus,
which has its DATA and LOG cache files sitting
in e.g. /usr/coda.

There have been threads about mailboxes on coda,
(and LWN had sth. recently with filesystems and mailboxes in general)
since MTAs do a clever file handling which might not work on coda.
Check the codalist archive for that.
