Digital Project Manager - Information Technology
SALARY: $71,466.00 - $114,346.00 Annually

WHAT YOU'D DO:
Work downtown at the Central Library managing IT projects related to the 
development and maintenance of Denver Public Library's dynamic range of digital 
services, including its websites. Play a critical role in leading the Digital 
User Experience team to build world-class digital services for a world-class 
city. Identify areas of improvement and conceptualize methods on how to be more 
efficient. Work to build an environment of continuous improvement where the 
common goal is to deliver outstanding digital services that provide value to 
the community as quickly as possible. Facilitate planning and meetings using 
techniques related to Agile, Scrum and Sprint concepts. Provide effective 
collaboration, facilitation and leadership in supporting Agile development 
process and delivery of applications. Guide team to adhere to Agile-based 
standards, tools and best practices, including process documentation. 
Participate in cross-divisional leadership teams.

and other software.Ability to pass a background check after the offer to hire 
has been made.
 
A Bachelor's Degree in information systems, computer science, or a related 
field, or equivalent education and work experience.
 
Three years of professional experience in full life cycle development of web 
applications.
 
Two years of  experience in practicing Agile techniques (Scrum, Kanban, XP), 
preferably in a servant leadership capacity. First or Second level Scrum Master 
certification (CSM, PSM I, PSM II).
 
Experience applying techniques (e.g. Planning Poker) for estimating and 
prioritizing a Product Backlog.
 
Experience working with interactive/web development teams to deliver 
large-scale projects on time and within budget.

Experience in the mobile app development space (preferred, not required).
 
Experience with Drupal (preferred, not required).
 
Experience working with PHP, HTML, CSS, jQuery, and MySQL (preferred, not 
required).

Although the full salary range for this position is provided, offers depend on 
qualifications and typically do not exceed the midpoint.  The City and County 
of Denver benefit package will be offered.

The schedule will be determined by the needs of a department that encourages a 
healthy work-life balance and will rarely ask for hours to be worked outside a 
normal workday.
