As the “front door” to millions of books and articles, unique scholarly
collections and expert help and services, the OSU Libraries and Press websites
are used by students, teachers, and researchers across campus and around the
world. The Web Developer supports the information needs of this wide audience
by creating engaging websites that enhance discovery and access.

The Web Developer is responsible for a suite of websites including the main
library site, branch library sites, and the OSU Press site. The person in this
position works with staff and faculty from every department in the library to
create, build, test, maintain, and improve our web presence. Training students
and staff to keep website design and content fresh is another important aspect
of this job.

In this position, you would join a close-knit team of developers, librarians,
and staff who work collaboratively and employ agile software principles.
Continued learning and professional development is supported and valued at OSU.
There is emphasis on participating in groups on campus and beyond.

Our accessible campus is located in Corvallis, Oregon, a short drive to the
coast, Portland, and many other recreational opportunities.
