Position Focus: Reporting to the Head of Technology, the Information Technology 
Project Manager performs a lead role in the planning, facilitation, management, 
and implementation of activities associated with information technology 
projects at the Beinecke Rare Book & Manuscript Library.  Work will be focused 
on information technology projects in support of the Beinecke Library's 
strategic and operational goals. The Information Technology Project Manager 
will build and maintain relationships with stakeholders throughout the 
Beinecke, our colleagues elsewhere at Yale, external vendors, and consultants.

Required Education, Skills and Experience:

*         Bachelor's degree in a related field and five years of experience or 
equivalent combination of education and experience.

*         Proven ability to manage digital/information technology projects and 
meet deadlines.

*         Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

*         Excellent written and interpersonal skills.

*         Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse population.

*         Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with 
stakeholders and collaborators.

Preferred Education, Skills and Experience:

*         Experience using an agile-based approach to project management.

*         Experience working in an academic library or museum.

*         Experience working with special collections units in an academic 
library or museum environment.
