We are delighted to announce that the Steering Committee for Samvera Connect 2017 is sponsoring the Samvera Connect 2017 Scholarship Award. Through a competitive application process, this award will be given to four applicants to attend the 2017 conference in Evanston, IL, from Monday November 6th to Thursday November 9th 2017. Applications are open to Samvera Community participants and priority consideration will be given to first time attendees, early career professionals, applicants from historically underrepresented groups, and international applicants.
The Scholarship Award will provide funding for conference registration and partial funding for accommodation. It does not cover other costs such as travel and subsistence. It is anticipated that the applicant’s home institution will provide financial support to supplement the Samvera Connect Scholarship Award.
