The Brown Institute is a joint effort between Stanford’s School of Engineering
and the Columbia Journalism School. Its mission is to explore the ways in which
new forms of technology (data, computation, sensors, 3d printing, and the list
goes on) can advance multimedia storytelling and journalism. The David and

fluent in at least one programming language, have a history of learning new
technological platforms, and have a general curiosity about how technology

This position will be appointed for up to 12 months, renewable for up to 2
additional years, contingent on performance and the continued availability of
funding.

Initiate, lead or participate in ongoing projects within the Brown Institute.
