Bryn Mawr College invites applications for the position of Digital Collections 
and Metadata Librarian to join the new Digital Scholarship, Critical Making, 
and Digital Collections team within Bryn Mawr’s dynamic Library & 
Information Technology Services (LITS). The position will work closely with 
colleagues in LITS and with Tri-College Library Consortium colleagues (which 
includes Haverford and Swarthmore College Libraries) to grow our digital 
collections program and support digital collections infrastructure and 
practices. The Digital Collections and Metadata Librarian is responsible for 
providing expertise and leadership in development, implementation, and 
assessment of digital collections and metadata systems, policies, and 
procedures to support discovery, access, management, and preservation of Bryn 
Mawr and Tri-College collections. The position plays a key role in supporting 
the implementation, administration, and enhancement of Islandora, the newly 
selected platform to host and preserve Tri-Co digital assets.

Located in metropolitan Philadelphia (and a short train ride from Center City),
