The Libraries’ Web Consultant performs as-needed critical maintenance, development, and emergency troubleshooting on Libraries-run web sites and servers, with a focus on managing the EZproxy server. The incumbent works independently with broad discretion in carrying out assigned duties. Responsibilities include: Maintain the Libraries’ EZproxy server as needed, including software upgrades and server configuration work Performs emergency troubleshooting to Libraries-run web sites and servers as needed Performs server administration tasks (examples: operating system upgrade, migration) as needed Troubleshoots Libraries-developed web sites and services (examples: Laravel applications, custom WordPress themes and plugins) as needed Performs additional development on Libraries-developed sites and applications as needed
