Luther College seeks a creative, collaborative, and user-oriented colleague as 
User Experience Librarian for the 2019-2020 academic year, focusing on user 
needs relating to library resources and services. A primary project of the year 
will focus on improving the discovery and use of library resources via the 
LibGuides platform.

A master’s degree in library or information science from an ALA-accredited 
program is required. Familiarity with LibGuides or other library guide systems, 
current trends in information architecture, web design, and experience working 
with library materials for instruction and outreach is preferred.

This is a non-renewable position and will begin late August or no later than 
September 2, 2019 and continue for a ten-month period ending approximately June 
30, 2020. Luther College offers an excellent benefit package including a
