We are pleased to announce that the Early Bird registration for Documenting 
Cinema: Film Librarians Conference 2019 is now open. The conference will be 
held at the Linwood Dunn Theater at the Pickford Center for Motion Picture 
Study in Hollywood, CA on May 15th to 17th, 2019. The Film Librarians 
Conference is organized by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences' 
Margaret Herrick Library.

through April 19th, 2019.

Event Description
The 2019 Film Librarians Conference will build on the discussions and dialogues 
begun in 2017, providing a continuing forum to explore contemporary debates and 
exchange ideas and strategies amongst librarians, curators, and archivists who 
maintain and administer paper-based, motion picture-related collections, as 
well as students enrolled in related graduate programs. The conference will 
explore a diverse range of topics and foster a stimulating environment for 
specialists from various institutions and disciplines.

Program
The 2019 Film Librarians Conference will include paper presentations, panels, 
special screenings, keynote speakers, and optional tours. A full schedule of
