ALCTS RPLTS Interest Group Meeting - Call for Proposals
The ALCTS Interest Group, Role of the Professional Librarian in Technical
Services (RPLTS-IG) is seeking proposals for presentations at ALA Annual 2019
in Washington DC. RPLTS-IG will meet on Saturday, June 22, from 10:30 a.m. -
11:30 a.m.
Our program theme will be: Strategies for Training for New Trends in Technical
Services.
Each presentation will be allotted approximately 15-20 minutes.
Possible topics include:
* Creative and innovative ways of training librarians and academic
professionals
* Techniques for cross-training throughout different library units or
consortia
* Implementing low-budget training
* New topics in training in the library community
