Gettysburg College<https://www.gettysburg.edu/> is seeking a full-time Manager of the Innovation and Creativity Laboratory reporting to the Director of Educational Technology Department. The Educational Technology Department<https://www.gettysburg.edu/offices/educational-technology/> is part of the Information Technology division<https://www.gettysburg.edu/offices/information-technology/> that supports campus academic and administrative technology operations and initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of development and outreach for the Gettysburg College Innovation and Creativity Lab (ICL) located in the West building. This will include:
* Coordination and outreach to faculty, staff and students, including the Garthwait Leadership Center, the Center for Public Service, The Entrepreneurship Center, and Musselman Library * Engaging local non-profits and public and private sector organizations in an effort to bring meaningful intern projects to the ICL * Training and assisting faculty, staff and students on the use of the equipment and project design * Management of the ICL space, including both physical layout and installed equipment * Maintaining the safety of users and student workers * Providing classroom or lab presentations at the College to increase awareness of the ICL and STEAM projects/internships * Development of training and safety materials * Managing materials stock and repair parts * Tracking usage of the ICL * The ICL Manager may be responsible for supervision of student employees as necessary The successful candidate will also be responsible for coordinating communication with other IT divisional Directors around their departmental needs. Candidates should be able to take projects from pilot to production by: * Leading groups through rapid prototyping and user-based design methods * Leading groups through project management processes and methods * Leading groups through quality assurance processes and methods Application materials due by May 3, 2019.
