MCLS is a non-profit, member-driven organization whose mission is to facilitate 
sharing resources and to  collaborate with other organizations to benefit 
Michigan and Indiana libraries.

MCLS has an immediate opening for MICHIGAN STATEWIDE DIGITAL PRESERVATION 
NETWORK COORDINATOR. Working with libraries, museums, archives, historical 
societies, and other cultural heritage organizations throughout the state, the 
Network Coordinator is responsible for developing and promoting a financially 
sustainable digital preservation network in Michigan. This position is made 
possible by the Institute of Library and Museum Services. It is funded by the 
Library of Michigan, based at the Midwest Collaborative for Library Services 
(MCLS) in Lansing, and reports to the MCLS Executive Director. The position 
will involve some travel within the state of Michigan, and to conferences and 
other events outside Michigan. The position is initially funded for three years 
from the start date of hire, with the expectation that if a financially 
sustainable model is created, the position would be ongoing.
