Join us in April for the Amigos Library Services online course Regular
Expressions!

Presented by Mike Pullin, this course is an introduction to managing and
editing data by learning the syntax and construction of a regular expression,
which is a sequence of characters that define a search (and sometimes replace)
pattern. Regular expressions are used in integrated library system
search/replace reports, some text editors (like Notepad++), and MarcEdit.

The basic characters used to construct a pattern will be discussed and then the
patterns will be used in hands-on examples.

This course consists of two two-hour sessions:

* Tuesday, April 21, 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm CDT
* Thursday, April 23, 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm CDT
