Are you interested in getting more involved in the LIS field, excited about
continued education in technical services, and in the SoCal region? Consider
volunteering with the Southern California Technical Processes Group (SCTPG)!

SCTPG is seeking nominations for two board members:
Vice-President/President-Elect & Secretary/Treasurer

SCTPG is a SoCal-based group that plans and provides professional development
events related to all things technical services. In the past few years SCTPG
has held workshops on topics including map cataloging, OpenRefine, GitHub,
subject headings/subject analysis, linked data... and more! The board conducts
its work virtually over email and periodic conference calls/Zoom meetings
(typically about every other month), and will be moving programming into the
virtual space as well, in response to social distancing measures.

Find out more about the group, including its by-laws and event programming, on
its website: https://sctpg.wordpress.com. The deadline for nominations is
Friday, May 29, 2020. Send nominations to Sarah Wallbank at [email protected].

Questions? Feel free to reach out to Mary Wahl at [email protected] or Sarah
