The University of Oklahoma Libraries is seeking a Virtual Research Platforms Engineer. This position is primarily responsible for the development and operational administration of the libraries’ discovery and document delivery platforms. Additionally, the position supports other key infrastructure underlying the libraries technology strategy, and works with members of the division to cross-train and provide in-depth support across platforms and services. The developer in this position is expected to apply a modern DevOps approach to the continuous improvement of operational practices, system reliability, and cost-effectiveness. The employment package may include the flexibility and/or expectation for a portion of work effort to be performed remotely.
