This position is a professional, staff position responsible for overseeing library information and discovery systems, as well as other specialized library systems, in a highly collaborative environment. This position provides broad support, including first-line technical support and day-to-day administration, for all aspects of library systems, software, and technology, such as the integrated library system (currently Koha), discovery tools (currently EDS), resource sharing (currently Tipasa), and the institutional repository. Primary duties include managing, configuring, maintaining, implementing, and troubleshooting all systems and the library’s website to ensure optimal performance. This position also collaborates to facilitate consistent discovery and access to library resources across all platforms and formats and acts as the primary liaison with technology vendors and the campus IT department.
