Reporting to the Associate Director of Information Technology, you will be part of a team supporting the New Jersey State Library and libraries across the state through development, maintenance, and improvement of systems and services. The developer will work with the team to streamline service delivery, isolate faults and performance issues, as well as improve the customer experience. This new position will work on supporting, maintaining, and improving the New Jersey State Library’s digital library collection systems. These systems currently use DSpace, an open source repository system. Preserving, archiving, and providing access to digital collections is a growing part of the library’s mission, and this position will be part of that growth.
