Western Carolina University is seeking a Collections Strategist & Resource Access Librarian who will lead Hunter Library in creating and sustaining an environment of evidence-based collections acquisition, management, and review. They will coordinate a collaborative process for prioritizing and acquiring resources across disciplinary areas. As part of the position, they will produce analyses, data visualizations, and reports. The Collections Strategist & Resource Access Librarian will develop and lead collection assessment efforts to ensure alignment with research, teaching and learning priorities at WCU and effective stewardship of collections budgets. This is a 12-month tenure track Assistant Professor position which reports to the Head of Content Organization and Management but will work in close collaboration with other library units.
