The University of Wisconsin-Madison Libraries and Chazen Museum of Art seek an
web application developer to work with a team to facilitate public access to
digital and archival resources created by museums, archives, and other curators
of cultural artifacts on campus. The developer will build and extend discovery
and access tools for digital objects and for finding aids for archival
collections.

This is a great opportunity for a developer with Ruby on Rails experience to
work with a strong 8-member development team on our digital collections and
discovery platforms.  Our full-featured digital collections platform has been
developed locally by this team.  See
https://search.library.wisc.edu/search/digital.

Our team is working remotely these days.  This position is remote and does not
require that you work on site in Madison.

This is a one year appointment supported by a grant from the Andrew W. Mellon
Foundation.

The application period closes on March 21, 2022.  See the UW-Madison job site
for more details.
