Hi Charles,

I went to the site I usually go to for phone fixes, because issues are usually
due to settings or third party apps of some sort. This is what came up. The
2nd one is actually from a samsung rep. Good luck, hope this helps.

Tina

1)
Switch on Ultra powersaving mode and let the phone get switched off by itself
by draining it's battery. Once it is in switch off position keep it on charging
with fast charger for 150 complete minutes. Your problem will be solved

Thanks for being with Samsung and for sharing your concern. Let me recommend
some steps to further isolate and determine what you are experiencing. Please
be aware that device speeds may vary based on multiple outside factors. It
appears that there may be a third party app or other program that may be
leading to what you are experiencing. Placing your device in safe mode disables
all third party apps upon startup, to help determine if the use of a third
party app is interfering with your device .restart your phone in safe mode.
While your phone is powered off, press the power button to turn on the phone,
once you see the Samsung logo appear press the volume down key and hold it
until you have completely booted up. Also, the relevant department may serve
you better/speedily, if you can provide logs/video by registering this feedback
in Error Section (Samsung Members App -> Feedback -> Questions/Errors -> Create
-> Error reports).

Subject: [CODE4LIB] Samsung Galaxy AO2s - charging issues

Hi my esteemed listmates,

I'm in a troubled scenario.

Another hurricane is heading our way and my Sasmung Galaxy AO2s keeps
displaying wrong charger or cord error message (triangle with exclamation
point in it).

This just occurred today after I installed the Open Camera app from the
Google Play store.

I doubt the 2 are connected but I'm not a cell phone engineer.

The phone is at 69% charge then goes to 70% and sits there for 3 hours.

I've Goolged and YouiTubed this and tried a few suggestions.

It's a sealed phone so you cnalt just pop out the battery like the old LGs.

I connected it to several different outlets and then my Dell laptop.

Nothing Helps.

There is no Samsung support.

Months ago I had questions re: if I could enlarge the Time displayed on
the screen, Web site US tech support is terrible.

I toed emailing India and South America support to no avail.

I then snail mailed a letter to Samsung's CEO in North America and after 3
weeks have "enjoyed" no reply.

LG would email you back in a day.

Anyone have a Samsung with this problem of chaRING?

Anyone have any success reaching Samsung tech support.

Everyone advises you charge up your cell before a hurricane.

How do you do that with a Samsung like this?

Thank you.

Charles.
