Hello Code4Lib community, I'm pleased to announce that Soojeong Herring has stepped up to volunteer as coordinator for the Community Support Squad (CSS) for the next two-year period. She will lead the CSS activities for the 2023 conference in Princeton with support from both Eric Phetteplace and me as past/outgoing coordinators. I am now facilitating the community vetting process to give individuals an opportunity to express any concerns before we officially confirm her in the role and begin planning for Princeton. In January, we will begin formally seeking Community Support Volunteers for the conference. An official message will be sent both on the listserv and on Slack with further information and a form to sign up. I strongly encourage folks planning to attend the Princeton conference to consider volunteering to take an active role in keeping our community safe and inclusive for everyone who participates.
