For Voyager, I've found this to be a useful algorithm for getting accurate
location information:
if item record
then
if item temp_location not null
then
use item temp_location,
else
use item perm_location
else
use mfhd location
Ah, true, for the online catalog you might actually want to display
both items of information. (IE temporarily shelved at reserves,
normally found in Vet Med).
