Hey Karen,

Have you successfully run the mysql-config[1] script yet? And included the
mysql41_flag parameter? That'd be the first thing I checked.

If you don't get much help from this list, the Fedora users list[2], which
has recently moved to Sourceforge, should definitely be able to get you up
and running.

Best of luck,

-Mike

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone had experience installing the digital library
software Fedora version 2.1 . I'm trying to get it setup here and am
having
problems when I start the fedora server. I get the following error message
in my log files.

<log xmlns="http://dlrg.cornell.edu/logging/SimpleXMLFormatter/1/0/";>

What I can understand from this is that it is having problems connecting
to
MySQL but I don't know why exactly. I'm trying to use Fedora with a MySQL
4.1 database and have double-checked the username and password for the
database by logging into the MySQL database with the relevant
username/password.

Can anyone help?

Karen
