While this looks like a low barrier mechanism for ridesharing/room
sharing and other activities related to the conference I wonder if it
might make more sense to use the Facebook Event page that has already
been created for the conference. It already has 50 people that have
signed in as confirmed attentees and another 28 "maybes" .
