There will be a presentation on the Library of Congress' exploration of Controlled vocabularies as Linked Data in its id.loc.gov Authorities and Vocabularies Service at the LC booth during the ALA Annual Conference in Washington, DC. on Sunday, June 27 at 10:00am. The presentation, given by Rebecca Guenther, will take place on Sunday, June 27, 10:00-10:30am. It will give background on the types and purpose of controlled vocabularies, review those maintained at LC, describe id.loc.gov and how it is being used, and discuss future directions. The Library of Congress Exhibit booth is #3751 in the Washington Convention Center Exhibition Hall.
