Apologies for cross-posting The John F. Reed Library at Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colo. is seeking a Systems and Technology Librarian. This is a non-tenure track faculty position, renewable annually, at the Assistant Professor Level, starting July 1, 2011. This is an 11-month position reporting to the Library Director.
Responsibilities: Manage our ILS (Innovative Interfaces, Inc.), implement new technologies, classroom library instruction, reference, selection, and other duties. Required Qualifications: American Library Association accredited master's degree, experience with an integrated library system, ability to work independently and contribute as part of a team, excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills, problem-solving skills, proficiency in use of online search systems, and basic HTML proficiency. Preferred Qualifications: Experience managing the III ILS, III load table training, III system administration training, III print templates experience, or any JasperReports experience, library instruction experience, especially classroom teaching.
