At gluejar, we decided to use Django for our Unglue.it website, which will open in january.
As someone who built a web framework from scratch in Java, I've found that the django design aligned with mine where I got it right and didn't where I got it wrong. I'm still getting used to Python, but I'm quite happy with Django.
