Interesting. Thanks Doreen. We went to meet with Lyrasis folks at
Lafayette yesterday. Sounds like they're going to be pushing Evergreen ..

For an update on the developments of Kuali OLE (KOLE), an effort to

On a light note, the first blog post of the new year includes a
collection of haiku, with reflections on KOLE and the services it will
provide. Following the haiku, you can read more blog posts, including
one about the KOLE Document Store:
"Designed to be format agnostic, the document store can be configured
to accept records from any metadata schema---from MARC to Dublin Core
to schemes not yet developed. It will also store and index
non-bibliographic data, such as item records or licenses for
e-resources. Documents can be structured (e.g. MARC or ONIX-PL) or
unstructured (e.g. licenses in PDF or Word). Links between documents
can be enabled within OLE (License to order; Bibl. Record to item;
etc.) and in the future they plan externally linking perhaps to the LC
SKOS records."
If you have any questions or comments, feel free to use the "Ask Kuali
OLE" link at the top left of the blog.
Thank you and Happy New Year!
