Karen, Thanks for the details. Like I said, this is for a research project. So, while I don't need more than 1,000 requests / day right now, given the current size of my dataset, it will grow larger in the future. But that means I can start programming and testing without the affiliate ID, and then once I've got one, I can stop worrying about getting throttled right when things are getting exciting.
