ERIN MCKIERNAN WILL BE THE OR2014 KEYNOTE SPEAKER We are delighted to announce that the opening keynote this year will be Dr. Erin McKiernan. Erin McKiernan is a Researcher in Medical Sciences at the National Institute of Public Health in Mexico. Her research involves the integration of experimental and computational approaches to solve diverse problems in epidemiology, physiology, and neuroscience. She is an advocate for open access, open data, and open source. She received her Ph.D. in Physiological Sciences in 2010 from the University of Arizona. She has written about open access for international media outlets such as The Conversation, and blogs about her experiences with open science at http://emckiernan.wordpress.com.
