Greetings,

I'm emailing you on behalf of the Association of Moving Image Archivists (AMIA)
PBCore Advisory Subcommittee to tell you about an event we are coordinating to
take place in Portland, Oregon before Code4Lib -- to develop an RDF ontology
for PBCore. We will be meeting an an airbnb about 4 miles from the conference
hotel on February 7-8, 2015.

PBCore is a metadata schema for audiovisual materials and was developed about
10 years ago by public broadcasters. Since then, the XML schema has been
revised multiple times and adopted by a number of archives and archivists in
the moving image archival community. The PBCore Advisory Subcommittee recently
held a how-to and why-to webinar, which you can watch here:
https://vimeo.com/aapb/pbcore.

We welcome anyone else who wants to join us and take part in the PBCore RDF
ontology hackathon. If you're interested, email me off list and I'll give you
more info.

Best,
Casey
