Hi folks,
The following survey consists of questions that identify the needs and
skills around managing content in fedora commons-based digital
repositories in library settings. This survey will form the basis for
research on how such competencies are acquired, developed and
supported among library staff in institutions in Ireland and different
communities of practice.
We know that in their day-to-day work library based staff have acted
as system administrator, programmer, project manager or supporting
other specialised services. We’re using your responses to create a
draft curriculum for library staff working with repositories and
indicate a framework to tackle future training needs.
The survey should take less than ten minutes to complete and will
hopefully assist in providing the skills needed for future
repositories. We will make the results available to whoever might be
interested.
If you have any questions please let us know.
All the best,
Padraic
