Binghamton University Libraries is currently accepting applications for the Director of Library Technology and Special Collections. As part of the Libraries’ senior administrative team, the incumbent reports to the Dean of Libraries and will be responsible for providing administrative and programmatic leadership for innovative, high quality information technologies, digital initiatives and discovery services, and Special Collections and Archives in the University Libraries.
An ALA-accredited MLS degree, 8+ years of library experience, and 5+ years of supervisory experience are required. This is a tenure-track faculty position. Binghamton University is part of the State University of New York (SUNY) system and is located in upstate New York. Salary and rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
