I used local notification to show bday msg. But the notification is only displayed when the app is minimized or in bg. If the app is closed, why doesnt the local notification work? I am not sure if the user keeps the app in bg on the day of his bday. If he doesnt, the notification is not shown & the app will fail. So is there any alternative or work around so that once set the notification, it appears regardless the app is minimized (ie in bg) or closed as well. thankyou
