Looking through the code I'm guessing the entry is probably marked as a dictionary entry: https://github.com/codenameone/ZipSupport/search?q=dict&unscoped_q=dict There is a special mode in the extractor for extracting dict that comes from the entry header. It's possible the zip makes use of features that aren't available in this extractor. I would suggest recompressing the archive in a high compatibility mode of the zip tool. Maybe use the JAR utility to generate that zip.
