1 week , it's so long
I call videotron last night and its can't resolme my prob ,,

Hi, A ban, *~*@*.videotron.ca has been been placed on videotron.ca. If you properly enable ident you will not be effected at all. This ban was placed at the request of Videotron administration as their solution to the extensive problem we have with their users that do not run identd. Do the following to install identd. mIRC DCC->Options->Identd Check Enable ident server Put your userid in the user id box (it should match your email address user name, just using your email address is fine too). Set the system to UNIX Set the port to 113 Check Enable only when connecting If you're using mIRC type /help identd. Also, connecting from a lan may create problems for identd. Suggest test with single machine if you have been trying to connect from lan. Videotron requires additional payment if you are trying to run 2 or more computers from the same cable connection. If you persist to have problems, please contact tech support at your provider, Videotron.ca, not the Undernet. Regards, elm
