NAME  daemon - run in the background

Anyways, the ircd refuses to release the controlling terminal on startup.  Only 
ircu2.10.12 does
that to me.  I'm not saying there is anything wrong.  I am just saying that it didn't 
release it
on a linux system.  If I have the problem someone else might as well.
