Hello coder-com, sorry to bother you! I'm having a weird problem with GNUWorld, which i haven't encountered before and REALLY need your help, please! I tried asking in #coder-com but nobody seemed to know... Whilst i tried to re-compile GNUWorld, the gmake stalls at the point where the cservice.cc messages show (about reading release.notes about changes etc), there the hard drive activity goes MAD, and everything goes slow (really slow), and it just stays like that for hours. I have tried "gmake clean", completely deleteing the whole of gnuworld and cvs'ing the latest version, deleting cservice.cc and cvs'ing another. All the gmake/gcc/automake/aclocal versions are fine, and they fit the recommendations. The box itself is not slow, so i don't think that's the problem, it's a PII with 512kmb ram 80gb hdd. I can't get any further than that point, so i REALLY need your help to compile the rest of it...
Awaiting your response sh3ll Thanks for your help and sorry to bother ya's! Thanks again! _________________________________________________________________ Send and receive Hotmail on your mobile device: http://mobile.msn.com
