Yes it's normal each postmaster process represents a database connection and if users are accessing your web page they need multiple db connections. There is two databased that are accessed each time a page is loaded ... and as apache (httpd) processes, they multiply if more users browse your website. If you really want only one or two process i suggest you just dont use gnuworld at all. ;) regards, >V.B -- nighty
