Unfortunately, incorporating IPv6 will require some changes to our server<->server protocol since we send the actual IP of a user across the network base64-encoded. This, plus the state of the networking code, makes it likely that IPv6 will not be incorporated into any early patch release of ircu2.10.11. Our hope is to be able to incorporate it into u2.10.12, which will be using the libevent engine (see http://libevent.sf.net/).
