Currently, as far as I know, u2.10.11 servers don't allow other servers
(even U:lines) to issue BURST commands after the end of a net.burst for
that specific server has been acknowledged. However, a u2.10.12 server
requires the ability to BURST channels that it received through DESTRUCT
but actually still exist. Shouldn't BURSTs be allowed again in .11 so
that it will be compatible with .12 in the future?

PS: I know I'm asking this very early in the .12 development stage, but
I'm writing a service that could make very handy use of the ability to
BURST (again) outside of net.bursts, and I really hate having to hack up
the code for this one thing just to test on it :P
