the "harm" of that actually is that it would allow anyone to "know" if a given server 
is linked or splitted
from the network .. this is why this information is (or should) be available in 
another location, possibly
a webpage like http://www.undernet.org/servers.php, maybe the "/admin" output of any 
server should
end up with such a link for lost people ;)
