Hello C-Com. I've asked various others but of course, with people not owning their own irc networks or having any idea what an IRCd is - I thought you'd be the best guys to ask.
Currently I'm running 11.04 and gnuworld, each box is protected by shorewall firewall and iptables. Do you think this is sufficient security? There are no other daemons worrying and the kernel is up to date (2.4.19 (mdk9.0)). If you could advise me of any good security or whether this is sufficient, it'd be gratefully accepted.
