It would be much appreciated if you could file a SF.net tracker item for
this in the Patches tracker. Using the tracker allows the developers to
more easily manage incoming patches.

Just go to https://sourceforge.net/projects/undernet-ircu/ and click on
"Patches" (Patch Tracking System) and file an item.

The same holds true for feature requests (RFEs) and bugs, as there are
separate trackers for them.
