Hi coders,

Currently Linux is a daunting OS for newcomers. It takes a long time to learn
about its inner workings, and to master the command line. So I have an idea
that would make it easier for people to learn how to use linux.

It involves some enhanced features to the shell. The idea is to have a couple
of windows with lists of commands, admin functions, and command examples that
can be accessed alongside and below the shell itself when it is launched. This
will require some GUI coding. Alternatively, such lists could be added inside
Bash itself, with new commands needed to call them to the screen. But I prefer
the former. This type of idea has been discussed amongst IT people before but
nothing much has happened about it. Now may be the opportunity.

I'm not a coder myself but I have been working on the command lists and admin
functions. If there are any coder/s who might be interested in working on this
project, please let me know.

  Thanks,
  Twin R (SLUG member)
