Debian packaging question.

I seem to recall there is a tool to compare on-disk installed files with
their original in-the-.deb checksums.  My google foo is failing me (or
it could be the cold I'm bubbling through).

Follow up: I actually want to supply a different /etc/apt/sources.list
and verify against that (network usually vs cdrom spot checks).  Does
tools already exist?
