Yes, I downloaded that osol-0906 iso. I'm using it on Ubuntu 9.10, qemu version 0.11.0-0ubuntu3 For me, it hangs during boot, using 100% CPU, after displaying about 8 dots. The fix was to use a different NIC emulation, because the default NIC emulation doesn't do what the Solaris kernel expects during discovery. The quemu -net nic,model=rtl8139 option gets past this.
